Join us for an exclusive tour with artist Lynne Avadenka at her studio in Berkley. An artist and print maker, Avadenka creates mixed-media work informed by Jewish experiences. She is known for works that explore text and image around the physical and philosophical idea of the book. She participated in the Jerusalem Biennial in 2019 and was awarded a Kresge Arts in Detroit Fellowship in 2009. Her work is exhibited and collected internationally, including at the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Jewish Museum in New York, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, and much more.
